What you're signing up for
The Flathead River below the lake is one of Western Montana's most underrated warm-water fisheries. We run a full day in the river corridor targeting northern pike, smallmouth and largemouth bass, and crappie — with the Mission Mountains as a backdrop. Different rhythm than the lake: more sight-fishing, more variety, smaller water that rewards local knowledge.

What do we catch on the Flathead River?+
Northern pike are the headline, plus smallmouth and largemouth bass and crappie. It's one of Western Montana's most underrated warm-water fisheries.
Is this fly fishing or spin?+
Either — the river rewards both. Tell us your preference and we'll rig accordingly. Great water for sight-fishing pike on the fly.
How is it different from the lake?+
Smaller water, more variety, more sight-fishing, and far fewer boats. It's a change of pace from big-water Flathead Lake.
