Who You’re Fishing With

Guides who live here, fish here, and win here.

Nine captains. Hundreds of combined years on Flathead, Fort Peck, and everywhere in between. No seasonal hires, no corporate rotation — just anglers who fish these waters for a living and pass the craft along trip by trip.

Cameron Hockett

He runs a modern 27-ft Raider and treats every trip — from first-timer to trophy hunter — like it matters. Because it does. He's also the only angler known to have landed two lake trout over 30 pounds in a single tournament on Flathead.

Fort Peck Local

Lars Sorensen

Fort Peck-born and raised, Lars Sorensen has fished the reservoir for 30+ years and is one of the only true local guides on that water. Walleye is his specialty, but Fort Peck's depth chart runs deep — lake trout, chinook salmon, smallmouth bass, and pike all come to hand. When he's not on Fort Peck, he's chasing blue cats on the Mississippi, bull redfish in the Louisiana bayous, or whatever Alaska has to offer.

Brian Blimka

Full-time guide based out of Lewiston, ID — on the water year-round chasing salmon, steelhead, and sturgeon on the Snake, Clearwater, and Columbia rivers. Fishes from upper Hells Canyon all the way down to Buoy 10 in Astoria. Reads how fish change as they move through each system across every season, and that knowledge is what puts people on fish.
