What you're signing up for
Little Bitterroot Lake is the Flathead Valley's best-kept secret for fall rainbows. The trout get heavy through summer and hit hard in the fall — same goes for the lake's resident kokanee salmon. Full-day trips only, by design — the drive out is worth it for a focused day on a fishery that's only at its peak for about 8 weeks a year.
