About this trip
Wild Horse Island is a 2,160-acre state park in the middle of Flathead Lake — accessible only by boat. It's home to wild horses (yes, really), bighorn sheep, mule deer, and bald eagles. We run a private 3-hour tour: cruise the island's perimeter, anchor at one of the hiking access points if you want to stretch your legs, and learn the history of the Salish-Kootenai people who consider this water sacred. Bring a camera.
